Revlon Fire & Ice — Fragrance Without Labels

An advertising campaign that reinterprets Revlon's iconic 'Fire & Ice' fragrance through the lens of gender neutrality.

Revlon Fire & Ice — campaign hero

01 · The Challenge

The brief.

Design and produce a print advertisement for the launch of a new gender-neutral fragrance by Revlon. The project required reinterpreting the iconic Fire & Ice fragrance campaigns while creating a contemporary message that would resonate with a younger audience.

02 · The Opportunity

The insight.

While the original Fire & Ice campaigns became iconic through their bold duality and sensuality, today's consumers increasingly reject rigid gender categories. The opportunity was to preserve the emotional impact of the original campaign while introducing a more inclusive and modern perspective.

03 · Creative Concept

Fire & Ice, reimagined.

The concept focused on duality without limitation. Rather than presenting masculinity and femininity as opposites, the campaign positioned fragrance as a form of self-expression that exists beyond traditional gender expectations. Through lighting, styling, composition, and visual storytelling, the ad aimed to communicate elegance, confidence, youth, and inclusivity.

04 · Final Advertisement

05 · Behind The Shoot

From concept to camera.

From concept development and creative direction to photography, lighting, styling, and post-production, the project challenged us to translate a strategic idea into a complete advertising execution.

06 · What I Learned

Beyond the image.

This project provided a deeper understanding of fragrance advertising, creative production, and visual storytelling.

Working through the entire process — from concept development to shooting, editing, and final design — reinforced the importance of collaboration, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.

Beyond creating a visually compelling advertisement, the campaign explored how brands can promote inclusivity, challenge stereotypes, and connect with modern audiences through more representative storytelling.
